concept

This is a concept drawing for a project I'm doing in my perspective class. I've decided, through the workings of this project, that I have another goal in life: to visit the grand libraries of the world. I hope, someday, to design a library for a film, and it will include a fountain!!!!!!

...

Inspired by Eisley's song, "Sun Feet". I had a nice time just listening to music and drawing yesterday. It makes me wonder why I don't do it all the time!

Happy Trees

I've been working on a mural in my room! It's very simple, but it'll most likely grow over time. I also painted my head board... again. I used to paint furniture all the time, and I've found I really miss it. Up next: a trip to Goodwill for some neat-o night-stands or small tables that I can paint. We'll see.

Angel

I've been playing around with this idea for a painting, which I started working through at the end of last semester. The only difference between this concept and the origional was the birds were actually flying acrobatic figures. I think I'll go for the circus folk for the origional painting. The digital painting has it's own, ghostly quality that I like. I'll put the painting up when it's finished and we can compare.

Thanks, David.

David suggested I draw a "shark monster". I find sharks, monstrous enough, but if I had to add anything to them to make them even more of a threat, I would add long, tongue-like tendrils that surge out of their throats and pierce you in the jugular and drag you down toward their open mouths so they may devour you. The day sharks evolve to have any sort of appendages in the day I will never go further than 3 feet deep into the ocean.

another face

I went back into this one, changed some of the hues, and tried to reduce the contrast.
