Face Off

Another Photoshop work in progress. I think I'll go into this one and work again.

ART RAGE?!

So. This is an experiment. I just downloaded the free program, "Art Rage" after hearing a friend talk about it, and I have to say, there are some pros but mostly cons. First of all, it doesn't draw well: the cursor is complicated as it changes from tool to tool, and though I didn't use a wacom tablet for this doodle, I can tell by the way the "medium" drags that it's awkward. The end result has a nice look to it, as far as the paint consistency and marker opacity. Still, I think I would much rather paint digitally in Photoshop....

The Semester is Over

This image is from my last Illustration Project. Book cover for the novel, SABRIEL. It's a great book, by the way.

She stumbled upon a hut that stood on chicken feet

This is an experiment with Photoshop, since the semester has wrapped up and I need to start practicing for NEXT semester. I decided to draw Boneyleg's hut on chicken feet; I had abandoned the idea for one of my projects. It was a fun hour and a half, though my neck now has a crick in it. Is this what I have to look forward to for Digital illustration? :) Regardless, Photoshop is fun, quick, and effective.
